Xtonic 03:10
Just one, one small strip of you, That's all I am, You can lead me, you can say, And I will say, When did we start repeating ourselves? When did we start repeating ourselves? I'm on your nerves and not giving in, Now you've started I can begin! Because I know that, I know that, I can only imitate you, But I know that, I know that, I would never hesitate to, Because it's easy, easy, And I know what you would say, You can leave me, leave me, But a part of you will stay, Just leave it to me, Is it warm in there in the shade? I am the blade that brings you all eye to eye, Friend and foe, When did we start repeating ourselves? When did we start repeating ourselves? I'm on your nerves and not giving in, Now you've started I can begin! Because I know that, I know that, I can only imitate you, But I know that, I know that, I would never hesitate to, Because it's easy, easy, And I know what you would say, You can leave me, leave me, But a part of you will stay, Just leave it to me.

Scars 04:37
There's no use in delay, you've got so much pain, Already under your belt, Such a long way, your body and your brain, And all the the things you've felt, I'll make you everything you wish you ever were, If you just take a breath and hold me close, And everything you ever wanted will be yours, Here in life after life after how many more, Now I know what you are really like, Gotta find a way to bring that back, So take off your mask and breathe, And when I found you, you were defined by your scars, And when I raised you I knew you would get this far, Because I made you more than the sum of your parts, And then I sent you out to find your face, It's not you but it is they that wear the mask, And in a sense your innocence is what all of you are, Now I know what you are really like, Gotta find a way to bring that back, So take off your mask and breathe.

Vortex 04:54
I found solace in your eye, And I feel so light, Broken strings in your heart, Burn the ends off in a star, Let's go back to the end, Know the space that we can bend, Shout my name from the roof, Of the world an set me loose, What a better way to live, to know what life is yours to give! What a better way to die, to know to wait your turn in time! Shout my name from the roof of the world and set me loose, Feel the rage of the wolf, Shout my name from the roof of the world and set me loose, Feel the bite of my tooth.
4.
Thief 04:12
Thief, I'm your thief, the one you stole, Running around behind your doors, Balanced just above your soul, You've shown me a life I shouldn't have, We've been outside the universe and back, We might never speak again, We'll be together until the end, Taking back your home from Home, Yeah we'll go where we need to go, You're bigger on the inside, And you'll always be alive, Stay, why don't? Why don't you stay with me, I know, Count the worlds that we broke, Just to be here and now you go, Oh the places that you take me, and the sounds that you make, You're so new but just the same, You're so sexy it's insane.

about

"Borrowed Box" is essentially an HD remake of an EP I released two years ago called "A Rough Guide To Trock", comprising songs about the popular TV show Doctor Who. This updated version of the EP, produced by Jimmy Balch, has been released in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, but is also intended to be accessible to listeners with no knowledge of the programme.

Happy anniversary, Doctor! Here's to many more years in the TARDIS!
